Jørgen Schøler Kristensen is now a board member of the health tech company Emento. Jørgen Schøler Kristensen has held many high-ranking positions in the Danish healthcare system and was the Chief Medical Officer at Aarhus University Hospital for many years. In his last job before retirement, he was an executive director in Central Denmark Region.
- For a number of years, I have followed Emento's work to improve the patient experience, but also the everyday lives of clinicians,
says Jørgen Schøler Kristensen.
- User experiences by both patients and healthcare professionals and data show us that there is a huge potential in making treatment pathways better and more efficient. We can do that by closer collaborations and by creating better coherence across sectors. Our healthcare system needs a helping hand - also to bridge the gap between different sectors and here, the Patient Guide from Emento could be a part of the solution - and I would like to contribute to that,

To date, there are more than 100,000 patient guides, distributed to more than 50,000 patients, and Emento can document that the Patient Guide has a major positive impact speeding up processes and making things run more efficiently and smoothly for both citizens and clinicians.
